TMC for X

Optional Chrome extension · Off until you turn it on

Overview

TMC for X is a small Chrome extension. It puts a Buy button next to a Solana coin address in a post on x.com. One click opens a small TMC window that buys the coin with your 1-Click wallet.

It is optional, and buying from X is off until you turn it on in your account. The extension only asks. Every buy is checked and signed on TMC, with your session, by the same one-click buy as in the terminal.

The extension is not on the Chrome Web Store yet. The official link will be published on this page. Do not install it from anywhere else.

How it works

  1. The extension reads the posts you scroll past on x.com and looks for coin addresses and links to coin pages.
  2. If TMC knows the coin, a small button appears next to it. A ticker on its own never gets a Buy button, because many coins share the same ticker.
  3. You click the button yourself. The extension ignores any click it did not receive from you.
  4. The extension opens a small TMC window and gives it a one-time ticket that works for 15 seconds.
  5. The window checks every limit on this page, then buys with your 1-Click wallet. Nothing is signed outside TMC.
  6. The window shows the result. When nothing needs your attention, it closes by itself.

A large buy still asks you to confirm in the window: any buy of 1 SOL or more that is also more than half of what you can spend.

Turn it on

  1. Install the extension.
  2. Sign in on tmc-terminal.com as usual. The extension never asks you to sign in.
  3. Open My Account, then TMC on X, and turn on One-click buys from X.
  4. Check your two limits, below.

Until you turn it on, nothing is bought: the window tells you that buys from X are off and links to the setting. TMC can also switch buys from X off for everyone, and the window says so when it does.

Limits

Every limit is applied by TMC, on its own page. The extension cannot change them or skip them.

  • Max per buy: 1 SOL by default. You can set it from 0.01 to 5 SOL. A larger amount is refused, even if your preset allows it.
  • Max per day: 5 SOL by default, over any rolling 24 hours, all buys from X added up. You can set it from 0.1 to 50 SOL.
  • Amount: always one of the three amounts of your active preset. The extension chooses a coin and which of the three amounts, never a number. If you change preset after the button was drawn, nothing is bought.
  • Pace: at least 3 seconds between two buys, and at most 20 per hour.
  • Large buys: confirmed in the window, as above.

Your limits and the 24-hour count are kept in your browser, per account, on the device where you set them. The daily count therefore covers the buys from X made on that device. If your browser cannot keep them (a private window, for instance), TMC does not buy from X there.

A refused buy always says why in the window, and nothing is bought.

What it never does

  • It never signs anything. Every buy is signed on TMC, by the page, with your session.
  • It never holds your keys or your session. It has no access to tmc-terminal.com: not its pages, not its storage.
  • It never asks for a code, a password or a secret phrase. You sign in on tmc-terminal.com only. An extension called TMC that asks for one is fake.
  • It never reads your direct messages. It runs on x.com only, and reads only the text and links of posts.
  • It never shows your wallet address or your balance on X.
  • It never buys from a ticker alone.
  • It adds no referral code to anything.

Turn it off

  • In TMC: My Account, then TMC on X, and turn off One-click buys from X. From then on the window refuses every request.
  • In Chrome: open the extensions page and turn TMC for X off, or remove it. Removing it deletes its data from your browser.

Your TMC account, your wallet and your funds are untouched either way. What the extension reads, sends and stores is in the TMC for X privacy policy.
